[center][font=Courier New][size=5]Meet the Fossils![/size][/center] [center][i]As you scurry through the Carrion Canyon, wings weighed down my heavy sweat and drought, you stumble upon a shaded hole. You sigh, time to take a break! Laying in the shade of the rocky cliffs, you notice that this isn't a hole, but a tunnel. Do you follow it? On the other side of the caverns is a simple yet well-kept clan. Dragons are working diligently around the place, carrying lanterns and returning with food from the hunt. You're shocked- how could anyone live in such a desolate place? Well, one dragon notices you and plans on giving you an answer![/i][/center] [center]Hi! I travel sometimes and- I had no idea anyone could find refuge in such a place. Its well-hidden.”

It was a spiral, also seemingly coming from the Shifting Expanse if their eyes said anything; on the contrary, their outfit, as well as the creeping black tendrils rising from their back, suggested a shadow-ruled dragon. She sighed, another hopeless wanderer to get in the way of her work. "I don't make the rules around here, but I doubt anyone will get on you about staying too long. We're quite the hidden clan, yes, but that comes with very little company... not that I mind." She mutters, "If you're wanting to rest, you might stop by Cailleach for an energy or sleeping potion... or, I guess, if you feel so inclined, you can follow me around." She turns away, marching down another hall. Do you follow her? [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=48242408] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/482425/48242408_350.png[/img] [/url] A dark colored Pearlcatcher steps slowly through the tunnel, carefully observing her surroundings from behind her mask. Her mane twitches every now and then with unease and a considerably larger dragon emerges from the shadows beside her. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=47937025] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/479371/47937025_350.png[/img] [/url] The Guardian was draped in eerie-looking blue garb and golden jewelry. Imposing as she was, when she swept a large wing lightly over the Pearlcatcher, gently resting it on her back in a reassuring manner, the other dragon seemed to relax and look up at her companion. The Pearlcatcher, Moongleam, slowly stepped forward, looking for another dragon to ask about what this place was. She quickly spotted a rather colorful dragon - a Gaoler - and hesitantly stepped towards him, keeping as close to the Guardian as she could. "Hello-" she started, trying to catch Bloom's attention, her voice vaguely muffled due to the mask.

They instead headed over to Caileach as suggested, hoping to chat a little too.

Immediately, the anxiety set in, and he shrunk in on himself, looking around. He was even more surprised when he realized they were talking to him! He stuttered, "Ah, uh, hi! I, um, I'm Bloom, ah, it's, uh, nice to meet you...?" He looked up towards the two from his perched position. Bloom already had trouble talking to other clanmates, but dragons from other clans were a whole other world that terrified the gaoler. "Uhm," He looked around, trying to find anyone to help him out, "...do you, uh, need something?"

The spiral waved and introduced themselves as Siloh, and Cailleach responded with her own name. She handed him a cup of flowery tea and gestured to sit. "So, Siloh, where did you say you were from?"

Seeing the other's reaction, Moongleam bowed her head, hoping to somewhat come off as less intimidating. Echoes, on the other talon, merely tilted her head in acknowledgement of the other; perhaps in curiosity as well.
"Pleasure to meet you, Bloom. My name is Moongleam, and this is my mate," she gestured at the Guardian, "Echoes.
"We were hoping you, uhm, or maybe one of your fellow dragons might be able to tell us where we have found ourselves? You see, the two of us were searching for my old clan, to see how they were doing and all, but it seems, er. . . we may have gotten lost on the way??" She vaguely shuffles her wings in embarrassment.

@LilyCatcher Bloom's eyes widened. Their story was definitely believable, so there was nothing to fear, right? Bloom scratched his cheek, looking around. "Oh, I, uh, I'm sorry you got lost... I, uh, I can't tell you much about where we are other than it's in the Carrion Canyon. We're, uh, called the Labyrinth of Fossils..." Bloom looked around, eyes finally landing on who he was looking for. "I probably won't be much help, uh, I'm sorry... Cerridwen is a map-maker, she could show you where to go... or, the leader, uh, Phanes, he can tell you about our clan..." He nodded his head towards the two dragons before mumbling a quick sorry and skittering away. Who do you go to?
