OOh I've been on a shipping kick lately and have given my fav breeding pair some lore. It's in their bio but I'll put it all here for convenience. Moved to Arcane as a compromise to be with his wife from Light. He sometimes composes sonnets comparing her to ancient mosaics and stainless glass windows as fine as the ones in Light. Used to profit off of organised crime but now mostly enchants toys for his children and theirs. Moved to Arcane as a compromise to be with his wife from Light. She gave him a bunch of flowers she magically preserved from the edge of the Light cliffs and he wears it proudly. His wing is completely broken from a former fight and requires magical assistance (built and facilitated by Ariadne) to fly. Used to live in The Hewn City, scrounging for scraps and hiding in the cracks of the ruins, sometimes hearing hidden knowledge. Dislikes books and couldn't read until her husband taught her, though she prefers learning on the job. She used to hoard and sell scraps as antiques to stuffy high and mighty scholars. Her husband was initially one of those stuffy high and mighty scholars, though she became impressed by his ability to see through her scam when they first met. He was impressed by her initiative and instantly had respect for her, while she was initially hesitant she saw through his polished facade into his goofy, kind interior. She often worries about his wing, and hovers around it when they fly together, despite his reassurance. Her plumed anklets were given to her by her husband, though initially skeptical, she soon fell in love with them and wears them everywhere, insists her children always wear at least one piece of fine soft clothing which her husband more than happily facilitates.

I'm sorry man, I hope you feel better soon. It's not written in their lore as of now, but I can basically sum up this relationship in one sentence: Confused angry lesbian meets oblivious angry lesbian and she is [i]terrified[/i]. Gaoler spends her whole life guarding the shade and suddenly meets a pretty lady and experiences a feeling other than anger for once in her life and? Please send help for this pining fool, she's going through a gay panic. On the other hand, Venatici has no dang clue Shadow's even in love with her. She's too busy working to notice, but I'm hoping to write a short story for them both where they finally get together. Zaffre went on to help found my lair. Since they had shared custody of the kid, Zaffre invited Kyurem to live in the lair so they could still raise their daughter. They started getting closer, and by the time their daughter was grown up, they were in love again! They're practically inseparable now.

Due to his scary coloring, Emmett is usually judged to be a threat before he even gets a chance to show he's not. This instant judgement has led dragons to attack him for no clear reason beyond simply believing him to be dangerous. Although he tries to act strong, this prejudice against him hurts greatly. Right as he was becoming cold and dead to the pain words and claws caused him, Korin came to his rescue as a knight in shining armor. She (Or well, she was still walking around as a he at the time.) had seen the rapidly disappearing softness in him. She had approached him, and before long they had become friends, helping each other with their own demons. After they had grown more as people (dragons?) and had become true and kind to themselves, they began a relationship with each other. They're now so closely knit that not even the Twisting Crescendo could tear them apart.
