and then I exalted her parents and the dozen fodder kids strewn around my lair, but the original project pair I kept around as fodder breeders because, you know. Basic breed, triple gened, perfect fodder pair
well TODAY they hatched HER and im losing my mind

excel tells me she is their 72nd child. it took SEVENTY TWO HATCHLINGS and TWO ENTIRE YEARS to hit the jackpot, gender and all. if I never found a second pair, it would have taken two years to get this project dragon, and her parents already have literally the shortest possible cooldown. this dragon is literally a miracle baby and I have to share this ridiculousness.
anyway to everyone on your own breeding projects: take this MIRACLE BABY luck and patience, and hopefully your own pairs will be far, far, far, far, FAR luckier than mine! if you've got any ongoing, I'd love to see them hhh

I never kept track of how many dragons, pairs and eggs I had before Fina was born - I needed her to be the mate of my Saffron/Saffron/Ultramarine dragon (who was 100% a lucky find on the AH), and it was surprisingly hard for matching colors like that. I was so happy when she hatched that her name is just "Finally" shortened lmao.

@disillusionist honestly not sure if I'm keeping her or not yet, but what neat lore opportunities it would be hhh. that's a gorgeous guardian, I can totally see her as a blacksmith with those fire eyes [emoji=coatl love size=1]

My pair of Noki and Nero gave me my perfect dragon but my friend also really liked him so I was like sure you can have him and I'll just breed another... about that... this pair of IMPS may I add are almost my enemy. It took 1 year and four months but then they give me this gal, shes perfect and has faceted eyes as well and I love her! I think I'mma keep her a bab cause she is just so darn cute!
