I'm torn and I've posted five potential scry options in two different chats, and it's still equally torn between two about what direction to take in picking more appropriate genes for my clan's leader, Lupinus. Coli drops let him move away from tri basic, but now it's a matter of aesthetics and lore.
Between the two options, what seems to work better?
I find his lore lends itself to preferring the second option, but no matter what, I think they're both terrific options and I'm struggling to decide on them.
For lore contexts: Lupin's an older dragon who migrated from a Shadow lair with lair mate Passiflora. Lupin is the more aggressive of the pair who took a shine to the new variety of eye types uncommon to his old clan, and a mix of envy and bloodlust lead to a clan-wide decision that all hatchlings and introduced dragons should either have odd eyes or must be forcefully given non-standard eyes. All common eyed dragons in the lair must be vouched for and protected from Lupin and must contribute to the clan.
