Dragon Trading

Current Status: INDEFINITE HIATUS

My interests have gradually moved away from FR, so although I'm still on daily to feed and breed my dragons, I don't spend as much time on here as I used to other than weekends and during festivals, and so I don't really have the time/energy/interest to maintain this thread. Maybe someday I'll revive this.

So I have a ton of dragons for sale, but now that my gening projects are done (for now), and I don't critically need or want any more expansions now that I've gotten my Ancient Lair, so most of the treasure I get from selling dragons has been going to buying apparel and filling out my bestiary. Therefore, I figured I may as well see if anybody has these apparel items and skins that I want!

I'm also always willing to trade dragons for adult exalt fodder, as well as holiday currency for whatever the current/upcoming holiday is. The next upcoming holiday is the Crystalline Gala, so I'll be trading for Eternal Snow.

Really, the only things I am NOT looking for are other (non-exalt fodder) dragons or food, since I have more than enough of each of those.

I'm looking for equal trades in terms of treasure/gem value. For example, if you're interested in a dragon I have listed for 50K in the AH, I'm looking for items that total roughly 50K in value. For familiar/item values, I go by AH value unless noted otherwise. I value exalt fodder at 10K each (leveled dragons are valued at their average payout amount), and holiday currencies at 1:1000T unless there is a drastic change in the exchange rate.

All of the dragons listed below are also always on the AH (unless the listing has expired and I haven't had a chance to put it back up yet, OR the dragon is on hold for somebody else) so if you don't have anything that I'm looking for, you are also free to just buy them outright. If you're interested in buying a dragon listed for treasure for gems instead, or vice-versa, just PM me and I'll take the listing down and send you a CR. Right now I'm using the 1G:400T conversion rate; however, this is subject to change as the generally-accepted conversion rate fluctuates.

Finally, if you have an item that I want but aren't interested in any of my dragons, please don't offer to sell it to me. I will not buy it, period. The whole purpose of this is to bypass the step of me selling dragons and then using that money to buy items; if I don't sell dragons, then I don't have money to buy items. The money I get from exalting/coli/Shock Switch is all going to my accent fund, and I'm treating that all completely separately.

[center][size=7]Apparel Wanted[/size][/center] [b]IMPORTANT:[/b] While I generally go by AH value for calculating trade fairness, I know some people buy apparel from the Marketplace and resell it on the AH for profit. However, since they changed the restock amounts, I don't find that it's very hard to snipe for Marketplace apparel anymore (a lot of times the item will just be sitting there for minutes until somebody buys it, now that the supply is higher than the demand), so I won't always go by the AH price if the markup is a lot higher than the MP price. I can probably accept a 10~15% markup depending on the demand for the item (I know silks are higher because of the demand), but otherwise I'll just feel like I'm making a losing investment because I know I can get them at the MP price myself. My boyfriend NoMoreOreo runs an exalt fodder breeding factory, and so he's been adopting a lot of ugly triple-gened plentiful dragons to breed fodder. I'm on a mission to try to help him get some skins to cover up his fodder breeders. ^_^;

We currently need skins (no accents) for the following:

• Tundra female x2
• Tundra male x3
• Guardian male x2
• Mirror female x1
• Fae male x1
• Fae female x1 (lower priority)

As his lair grows, we may need more than this, but this is our starting point.

We don't particularly care what the skins look like as long as they're not hideous; in general we're leaning toward the Coli skins and maybe some of the recent elemental holiday skins. We're not interested in customs or very expensive retired holiday skins; this is mostly a vanity project and neither of us are willing to sell an arm and a leg for these.

As the one exception, I am, however, on the lookout for a for his progen.

...however, I'm quite picky -- I'm an art school grad myself, but ironically can't draw to save my life >_> -- so please don't be offended if I say no.

Please note that I'm only interested in dragons at this time -- no humanoids/anthros (eg. wolf versions of dragons, etc). I'm also not interested in pixels or sketches -- I'm looking for colored lineart.

@wantedplant Sure thing! Since Kahoalii is RTB in about a week I'm planning to try to find him a studette, since I don't want to buy a baby coatl or wildclaw right now and then have to wait for their whole cooldown period before he can finally breed. So if all goes well with my stud search, he should be breeding as early as next weekend.

Anyway, I'll value his offspring at roughly 75K since I usually sell circuit coatls in the 50-100K range, so 75K seems a good average price. That puts the total value at 105K.

Aside from the exalts, I'd take the violet flowerfall, duneglider cape, cyan flair scarf, bronze steampunk stuff, burlap hood, and 1 or 2 of your extra Carmine Serthis? That sound good?

@wantedplant Just giving you a quick update that I managed to find Kahoalii an RTB mate while browsing the AH today, so I immediately bought her and put them on a nest! They have 3 eggs, so hopefully at least one will be to your liking. ^_^
