Introduction
Meet Invidia and Belegur, they're the first of their lines and wish to see only the strongest hatchlings in their lines succeed, Survival of the Fittest, and as such they pit their children against each other out in the wilds until only one remains.
How does it work?
Survival of the Fittest works but pitching all of the hatchlings from a clutch against each other in the Coliseum until all but one "die". This hatchling is then considered the Survivor and is able to be advertised in the thread, the others are not eligible for the thread and must be exalted/sold or adopted out, they cannot remain in your lair.
While you're doing this it would as be fantastic if you would try to further the lines by also breeding in genes, or adding genes as you go since the lines are starting from basic dergs only.

While you're doing this it would as be fantastic if you would try to further the lines by also breeding in genes, or adding genes as you go since the lines are starting from basic dergs only.
- 1 hatchling - no need to coli as there is only one hatchling.
- 2 hatchlings - place them in the coli with another derg as a filler, this derg is to be ignored and doesn't need to be exalted if it "dies" as it isn't part of the project, so don't worry.
- 3 hatchlings - place them all in the coli to battle it out, waiting until all but one "die".
- 4 hatchlings - place 3 in the coli until ones dies and then swap this one out, or alternatively wait until only one remains and use the 2 hatchlings technique.
- 5 hatchlings - place 3 in the coli and swap out as with 4 hatchlings or coli with the 3 hatchlings technique and the 2 hatchlings technique and take the 2 winners against each other.
- Invidia and Belegur along with their mates are Generation 0, their children are Generation 1 and so on so forth.
- No interbreeding of Survivors, no matter if they are far enough removed to breed as it muddies generation numbers.
- Only a one hatchling can be a survivor, all other hatchlings in the clutch that fail in the coliseum are not eligible to be advertised on this thread.
- Exalt/sell/adopt out all hatchlings that are not the Survivor, these can be registered as the Fallen.
- No breed/gene/flight/level requirements needed.
