Hello there! I've seen some private breeding requests thrown about the forums, but this is my first time attempting one, so please bear with me!

A few days ago, I got the lovely boy above with shimmer/underbelly instead of his current genes. I went through two days of negotiations AND an accidental sale to ANOTHER USER before I was finally able to call him mine.
And then stupidly, I gened him up the way I wanted, without first finding him a mate. While that's Been Resolved, his future mate won't actually be able to breed for another month yet, where my darling boy up there will be RTB in 9 days.

As such, I searched through the ranges I wanted in the Dragon Search who also happened to be Crystal/Facets, and found about 15 in total who matched what I was looking for in a temporary mate/studette. owo I weeded out the ones I could spot were OBVIOUSLY in breeding pairs, but if I missed you and you're not open to breeding, feel free to decline! I've pinged the remainder of you in hopes that one of you will see fit to have your gorgeous girly mate with my boyo~

So I don't know if pinging in the initial post is actually known to work?? I see that the majority of threads put pinglists in the first reply and I'm starting to wonder if there's something to that. o.o

I have never done a breeding like this when i don't own both dragons so i have no idea how something like this would work

I'd definitely be open to using Drama to breed with him too. I too have never done one of these before so don't know how they tend to work.

The way studding usually works is one of us will lend the other our dragon so they can breed in one of our nests. Customarily, a dragon of regular equal value will be temporarily traded as a collateral. :3
In this case, I'll likely be renting a nest so we can get Lightning or Ice eyes. I will still trade you a dragon as collateral, but I don't plan on using someone I don't trust, so if you like, think of it as a formality~
Then once the nest hatches, we will split the nest 50/50, with an odd egg out being sold, and the profits split*. ^-^
Once the nest hatches, your dragon and new babies will be returned to you~ Babies will be sent for 1 treasure, and the parent dragon will be traded back for the collateral.

If I've left anything vague, please let me know! :D

*If we end up with an odd egg we plan to sell, I'd like to offer it to the nest holder fo maybe 50% off or so, if you're also okay with that. If not, that's fine too~

I would be willing but my only concern is that i do not see a dragon you have worth what i have in Nightmaw. Buying her allow cost me 200,000 in game, not counting the crystal genes. she is one of my favorite dragons and it took me a long time to track her down and then make her. Then for her to go to a third person on top of that. I'm just not sure i guess how a dragon as collateral is worth it when if the whole thing goes bad, that the dragon i end up with could get me her or another like her back. No offense though i know it sounds like i am.

I have no idea if I'm being clear or not.... Nothings coming out of my head right : /

or

160kt + 335g + Okapi (and my Skydancer's future mate)

If you're nervous, you definitely don't have to do it, though! I'm not expecting anyone to do anything that makes them uncomfortable. uwu

EDIT: I also thought of this guy:

He's not worth a lot gene-wise, but if we're going for favorite dragons, he was my dream dragon, and scrolling him up cost 400k (he used to be a Guardian,) + whatever his buy price was. But again, no pressure, I just thought of another possible collateral dragon.

I wouldn't have thought you would put his future mate up. I may not like the Egyptian looking dragons but they do go for a lot if I don't get my girl back. I could do it for the future mate aquarium (sorry dyslexic so names never come out right)

Woooo, the eagerness to sell my baby off is kinda scary, but understandable. owo; (No worries about the name.) I'd be find trading her while the breeding takes place~
