You've spent months waiting on Expedition Two. Expedition One was a masterpiece; an amazing open world game with excellent horror, the kind without cheap jump scares that leave you annoyed.

But Expedition Two? You stopped playing it one the first day. What trash was this? Flashing images of 'spooky faces' and annoying screaming every five seconds. Man, Journey Games was certainly going downhill. The worst part though? Witch Hunt by Satan Studios wasn't out yet. There were even rumors of delays. And with Bloodlines coming never, you needed something good to play. Good, here, being subjective.

Ah Double Down. It's dumb, a roguelike with same looking rooms and same looking enemies, but its fun. Something to tide you over until Witch Hunt, a much better quality and well thought out game.

But why would you play again so soon? Who knows, its not like you had a whole week planned out to enjoy E2 only to find out it could barely hold your attention for one day. Oh well. Hopefully this run of DD will last a little longer.

General

• The game will start when slots are filled.
• This is a non-rp, role madness, semi-open setup. Please expect the game to be an unbalanced mess.
• This game will run on a 45/3 cycle. 45 hour days and 3 hour lockdowns.
• The general rules of mafia apply here. No out of thread communication. No sharing of spreadsheets. No copy and pasting rolecards and/or private communications with mods.
• This game won't have quirks. I don't feel like adding them.
• When in doubt, follow the spirit of the rules.

Activity

• Do not join this game if you do not have the time.
• Players are required to post once per 24 hours in the discussion thread. Quicktopics do not count towards this.
• Failure will result in roleblocking and then replacement/modkill.

When signing up for this game I need two things from you folks: Two numbers, and two roles you would like to see in the game. You are not guaranteed to get the roles you choose for all roles are randomized. Please ping me here with the two slots you want, and please pm me the roles.

For every pair of the same role, both choices will be converted to vanilla slots.
If an odd number of the same role is chosen, all but one of them will be converted to vanilla.
Try to pick unique roles to ensure diversity.

Vanilla slots will turn a role vanilla, no matter what 2nd role is attached. This includes third party.

Mafia is determined by rng, not by roles. The pool of roles will be revealed at the beginning of the game.
