TOPIC | Two Dragons in a Box
This game is a reboot of an old thread, see it here. Don’t necro it, though! Basically, the premise is that the first person posts two dragons from their lair and some things about them; personality, a bit of history, maybe their relationship with the other dragon. Using only these tidbits, write a short story about the two dragons being in a space together. They don’t have to be trapped and it does t have to be enclosed, just something that puts the two dragons in a close enough space that they have to interact.

Here are my two dragons, Ereth and Nova! Ereth is excitable and adventurous, and Nova is a mom-friend prime to nervous breakdowns due to self-doubt.

[s]Claim![/s] @ person1 Here’s your story! [insert story] The two dragons I want done are Eldrid and Jess. Eldrid is an overly flirty doctor, and Jess is an assistant nurse who is confident, caring, and not interested in Eldrid (she’s got a mate).

Hopefully you get the gist of it. Just remember to add more than that, that’s nowhere near enough personality to really work off of accurately. Rules 1. No checking lore! You have to use only what the person gives you. Allow your brain to fill in the gaps of what the previous poster didn’t say. You can check it after writing if you want! 2. Please post a claim to the user above you and then edit your post with the story. DO NOT create a separate post to post your story. That clutters the thread and makes it hard to see who was last. 3. These don’t have to be novels! Any length of writing is welcome, as long as it’s more than a few sentences and it was obvious effort was put into it. 4. All stories have to follow FR rules - no excessive gore/violence and no NSFW. Please keep this thread clean, I would rather not have it locked. 5. Both dragon and human forms are accepted. I realize that some writers are more comfortable with humans, whereas others are fine writing from the perspective of a dragon. To accommodate this, both forms are welcome in writing. If you are incredibly opposed to having someone write one or the other, please make sure you put in your post which form you’d prefer. 6. Have fun, guys! First person, here are my two dragons! She acts without thinking a lot, which often leads to not-ideal consequences. To keep her pride intact she puts up a facade of grudgingly solving the issue, but actually feels true remorse and will do her best to solve the issue. She’s not afraid of toying with males in the clan and has led to two different clutches. She is the head of the military-aspects of the clan, the warriors and border guards. She is a warrior herself, one of the few hatchlings that stayed in a fighting-oriented career. He is relatively stoic, but will speak up for either sass or wisdom. Which it is depends upon the situation. He is a very skilled fighter, and is occasionally liable to snap and let it out. Thulian is Iris’s oldest son. He grew up with his dad, Lustrous, a shy agriculturalist. Iris was a free spirit who never really wanted eggs in the first place, so she never really came around to see him. Either way, Iris was always a role model in Thulian’s eyes. He grew into a strong young warrior so that maybe he’d impress her enough to show him a bit of affection. [s]obligatory @GoldenFae ping[/s]
