Afterlife: Revenge of Darkness
Sanjiv sprinted into the throne room, panting from the exertion. The Master’s gaze raked over the breathless reaper who stood before him, his expression bored and exasperated.
“Make this quick,” he ordered the reaper.
"Apologies for barging in,” the messenger apologised. “However, this is urgent. There is a soul at the gates of the underworld asking to speak with you. They–she refuses to enter the soul realm until she does so.”
The Master’s eyes narrowed at the revelation and he sat up in his chair, all traces of boredom fleeing from his face. “Who is this soul?”
Sanjiv’s orange eyes shifted around the room, settling on the black and white portrait which hung on the wall behind the Master’s throne. With a shaking finger, he pointed at the painting. “It is her,” he announced in a hesitant whisper.
Despite the quietness with which the reaper spoke, the Master’s keen ears heard his words loud and clear. His eyes fixated on the finger the reaper pointed with, understanding the situation instantly, pupils expanding to consume the warm brown of his irises. Throughout the room, the gathered creatures stared at the Master, each and every single one of them motionless, fearful for his reaction–everyone in the castle knew what the person in the painting meant to him.
Rising from his throne, the Master approached Sanjiv, who swallowed in utter terror. “How?” His single-worded inquiry echoed in the silence of the room, more of demand than a question.
Sanjiv refused to look up into the Master’s eyes, keeping his own firmly focused on the cold stone floor underneath him. “How every soul gets here,” he answered.
“No,” the Master growled. “I meant, what caused her descent to this place? How did she die?”
Shaking his head, Sanjiv took a step back. “I don’t know, sir,” he replied. “She couldn’t tell us.”
Stepping closer to the cowering reaper, the Master stared him in the eye. After a few minutes, he pulled away, not seeing what he was looking for. Turning around, he stalked back to his throne, black cape trailing behind him. “You may not know, but I know someone who will.” Sitting down on his throne, his eyes slid over to the woman standing on his left, her face emotionless and passive as he did so. His white teeth flashed in the shadows that clouded his face as he spoke. “Schatten, send four of your best shadows to that town–you know which one–and have them hunt down that boy. Bring him to me,” he instructed.
Sanjiv watched as the Captain of the guard, former queen of shadows, nodded and moved to carry out his orders. She left the room, doors slamming shut behind her.
Once she left, the Master’s attention returned to him. “Bring the soul here. One of my servants will guide her to a room where she may stay until the boy arrives,” he told him.
Nodding, Sanjiv whirled around to obey, having no desire to linger in the throne room any longer than he needed to.

• Once you see a Reserved post, all conversation must stop till you see the End of Day post
• Mod’s word is final
• Don’t post in thread after you’re killed. I will send you the spectator chat link
• I can change rules if needed. I’ll alert everyone if I do
• Fluff is fine but don’t overdo it
• Be polite. Aggressive is fine but there’s a fine line between aggressive and rude. Don’t cross it or else you will be instantly mod killed. I give one warning when you near it but after that, you’re out.

Game Information
• This is a role madness game
• This is not a b*stard game. The mod will not lie to you, but they may not be able to answer a question
• This a non-rp mafia game
• There will be up to 20 players with a ratio of 4 innocents:1 mafia
• Mafia will win when the number of alive mafia aligned players is equal to the number of innocents alive or when nothing can prevent this from happening.
• Innocents win when all the mafia aligned players are dead.
