Unity Dinner

There's a little corner of the Windswept Plateau that buzzes with life. It's easy to find; just follow the lanterns drifting off into the sky. You'll find a plaza by the sea, filled with circus tents and carnival games, where dragons and beastclans alike linger peacefully, if only for a week. Laughter and conversation filled the air on the first ever Unity Festival. Enoth fully understood how important this event could potentially be, and that was why it had to be perfect.

It was not, currently, perfect.

Everything's a mess! We don't have any of the ingredients together, the decorations are all out of order, the contestants will be arriving any minute, something's burning-!

Oh, gods. Kitchen 7 doesn't even have a knife. You can't cook without a knife. Unless you wanted to cut the food with your claws, I suppose, but that's so unsanitary and-

Welcome to the Unity Dinner!

This is a cooking event somewhat similar to Chopped. I give you three ingredients to use to make a recipe, and then our judges, Saraceaser and TheSquishyKing, decide which recipe would make the best dish. Participating in this event gives tickets to our Unity Raffle, as well as rewards for a few lucky contestants!

You don't have to actually cook anything, so no worries if you lack access to ingredients, or if you're like me and somehow burned instant noodles.

The only restrictions are as follows:

• While you must include every "theme ingredient", you're more than welcome to add other ingredients as well! However, every item you use must be a FR item.

• The ingredients you use do not have to be from the 'food' section of FR's inventory! Need salt for your dish? Go for it! Want to put some feathers in your cake? I approve of your creativity.

• There will be a new set of theme ingredients every day during the week of the Unity Fest. You can submit one dish per prompt, for a total of up to seven dishes.

• While I don't see this coming up as an issue, so we have it in writing just in case: Please be courteous to myself, the judges, and other users on this thread.

• Feel free to ping me or shoot me a PM if you have any questions! I'll get back to you ASAP.

Prize drawing:

Prizes will be determined randomly. You earn a ticket for each dish you submit, for up to 7 tickets. 3 bonus tickets are rewarded to the winner of each round.

Please list your prize packs in order of preference - the first person drawn lists one, the second person lists two, and so on. If you win a prize, you have a full day (24 hours) to respond before another player is drawn in your place.

You can win a maximum of one prize pack per player.

"Dear Stormcatcher, help me!"

Armania immediately begins chopping the longgrass stalk. Known for being tough and used for chewing in the Long Neck culture, she takes the diced plants and puts them to soak in a mixture of water and daffodils (for flavor).

"I've got it, a sandwich! Easy for the long neck travellers to carry, nutritious, and delicious!"

She begins to slice away at the needletooth's tough exterior to reveal the tender flesh beneath. She then coats it in vegetable oil and throws it over a grill to cook thoroughly.

"Next, the bread!"

Armania crushes the berry and nut trail bar into a fine dust, and then mixes it with flour from the grassland grain. After some salt and water, the mixture is dough, and ready to be baked.

"Perfect!"

After the meat has cooked, the stalk has become soft, and the bread is baked, she assembles the sandwich with care and adds just a bit more vegetable oil to the top.

"There, I'm finished!"

@Venusian Okay I'm typing this but I'll be sleeping when I'll get an answer but...
is it like "one day=one drawing" or can we do the drawings during the fest?
Because I'm currently lacking time to do it, too busy during the day, and I'm afraid I'll have to go to bed and be awake after rollover orz

The plan is to put up a new prompt every day of the week, and you can make a recipe for any of the prompts during the week of the festival. After the week of the festival is up, the judges will choose favorites for each prompt and I'll draw prizes. ^^

If you can't make a recipe today, that's okay, the prompt's still valid for tomorrow!
