Hello and welcome!
I'm the creator of the original game/thread "Choose Your Egg" and I'm opening up a third thread for players to enjoy!
Rules - Read them, know them, and respect them please!

If you are the host of a round, you must have at least 3 eggs!

If your nest/s fall short of 3 eggs, you can adopt a hatchling/s from the Auction House to substitute the missing egg/s.

Only HATCHLINGS can be given away! The title is called 'Choose Your Egg' after all, and hatchlings come from eggs, not adult dragons.

Out of all the eggs a host will be providing, one must have a familiar as a bonus prize!

Whoever gets the egg & the familiar is the next host!

Remember: one host, one round!

This rule is in place because it can get very confusing (for both players and hosts) if there's more than one host running around and players don't know who to ping to participate! Thanks!

If you don't get a chance to participate, you can look at the other CYE threads and see if there's a round ongoing that you could jump into.

Otherwise, I ask that you be patient and wait your turn. Thank you!

In order to keep the thread moving, once all the eggs have been claimed, the current host must ping all participants and give the familiar to one of them, even if the nest/eggs aren't ready yet!

In order to keep the thread clean, hosts are recommended to edit their original post with the outcomes of the round instead of making a new post. Thank you!

Hosts may, once all the eggs have been claimed and if the eggs aren't hatched yet, announce the next winner (giving them the familiar!) who can then host the next round after that!

Out of politeness, the host has the option to post a predication date on when the eggs will hatch, if they haven't hatched already, for the sake of players.

Players should remember to accept their prizes ASAP to be courteous to their hosts.

If a player does not accept their prizes, hosts are recommended to try to get in contact with them to reminded them to claim their prize.

If the player does not respond to the host's inquiry with a reasonable amount of time, then the host is free to do what they wish with the player's former prize.

Please remember that once you give the hatchlings away, a host can no longer dictate what the new owners do with said hatchling. So please, respect how everyone plays!

If you don't like having Unnamed hatchlings, then it's within your right as a host to name said hatchlings before you give them to others. What you can't do is tell others to name said hatchling before exalting.

Remember to ping the host if you want a certain egg!

In the scenario that the host doesn't post either the choices or results after a few days, then anybody may pick up the proverbial torch and take their place!

And remember to have fun and be kind to other players!
If any sort of issues occur (i.e. current host doesn't respond for over a week, or winner of hatchling and familiar doesn't take responsibility and host the next round), please contact me (either by pinging me in this forum, preferably or by sending me a PM) and I'll sort it out.

Leopard Coralclimber
Familiar
During mating season, hundreds of coralclimbers will swim to the ocean's surface, and let out a chorus of chirps. It's very alluring... but only to other coralclimbers.

@Atavism - Hi! I'll take the emerald egg, please! Thank you!
Starwing36 is the winner of this round! Please host the next round as soon as you can! I'll send you familiar over in just a second!
To everyone: expect to get another ping from me, and your hatchlings, in four days! Have a nice day!
As you're wandering through the Shifting Expanse, you see an abandoned nest of three eggs just sitting there.

A sign next to it reads, 'I found these eggs a day ago here. Please take one and give it a new home. The Sweetpuff seems to be guarding them.' As you look at the eggs, a Sweetpuff pokes it's head around the nest. It looks at you, seeming to say 'Well? Come pick one?" Which one do you choose?
The glowing egg. This egg glows strongly. It quivers every one and a while. It also seems slightly bigger than the other two. @HimikoTheMage
You pick up this egg and walk off with it. A few minutes later, the egg cracks and falls apart. A strong looking Skydancer male looks up at you and chirps happily. Brushing the egg shell off of his head, you pick him up in your arms and walk off.

The flickering egg. This egg seems to be flickering uncertainly. It doesn't seem to move, but when you look closer, you can see a hatching inside. @Atavism
Carefully grabbing the flickering egg, you walk away from the nest with it. Setting it down on the ground, the egg wobbles and falls over. Standing it back upright, you see a crack where it hit the ground. The crack grows larger, and a small looking Skydancer female tumbled out. She looks at you and attempts to stand up, but falls over again. Picking her up in your arms, you walk off with her to take her back to your lair.

The vibrating egg. This egg jumps and dances, flashing in a consistent rhythm. Listening carefully, this egg gives off a faint humming sound. @ItsSedimentary
Reaching for the vibrating egg, you try to grab it but it dances away. The Sweetpuff chirps at it, and the egg stands still. Shrugging, you pick up the egg and walk off, the Sweetpuff following you. The egg starts wiggling, and you can feel the shell breaking. Setting it down, the shell breaks away and reveals a Skydancer male. He looks at you, a playful spark in his eyes, and starts flapping his wings. He stands up uncertainly, and chirps happily at you. As you and the Sweetpuff walk off, he bounces in circles happily around you.
