TOPIC | Pearly shells do not exist
I actually got one earlier today after hanging out in the kelp beds earlier today. I had no idea they were rare. I would screenshot for proof but I already opened it.
I'm wondering if it's just cause this is the Kelp Beds? As other territory themed chests come far more frequently (leaf packs/etc) but are lower levels. Although I think if you've made it to the kelp beds then it should be much less of a 'myth'...
I have also obtained 7 familiars by now out of the 10 new ones (not counting the dolphins as apparently they've been around), have gotten I THINK 5 lustrous but I don't recall a pearly..../maybe/ once but idk....

It s probably a decoy made by the Lighting flight to spy on others.

For real though I've only had three or four of the red ones and ice been grinding there a fair bit.

Pearly shells have a lower drop rate than lustrous shells because they have a gem inside! They do drop though.

@Renoki Yeah. Probably not all at once though, but after I finish the skydancer and wildclaw lore I'll focus some more on more venue articles. :)

@Undel: Any comments on the rarity overall, though?Are they actually supposed to have much lower chance of dropping from their respective beings than the basket/longneck/roost 'chests'?
