First I have to say, Shadow is Awesome, and I am in no way prejudiced because I am in said flight. Everyone is super friendly and no post goes unanswered ^^ We also have game threads and show and tell threads and... you get the picture ^^

But if you'd prefer a smaller flight than Arcane you might not be that happy with us, since we're the biggest flight on site. I personally don't find the forums to be that fast-paced, but I'm in a weird timezone so maybe that's just because of my usual playing hours. We're probably just as fast as Arcane though.

Pro : We're a really friendly bunch/ I wouldn't want another flight
Con : We're even bigger than Arcane so if you're fleeing a crowded forum it might not be the best place for you?

The smallest flight is Earth, so they might have a better place for you. Plague is also pretty small, so. :D If you go on the world map you can see the estimated population of each flight.

Someone from Water speaking here!
Pros: Close-knit, moderately paced flight forums. We have lots of groups and associations. (LGBT, Non-binary folks, autism, music lovers, etc) We're one of the moderate Dominance flights, I think, so occaisional bonuses.
Cons: Can probably get a bit dom-focused in push weeks if you're not into it at all, can sometimes be a bit too quiet if you like chatting a lot.

Probably some other stuff, but that's what came to mind.

@Ameru - While I'm not in Water, I know that it's the smallest flight of the three you're thinking of. It's half the size of Arcane, so I'm assuming that there'll definitely be more of the tight-knit feel you're looking for in a flight that size.

Sorry I can't offer any further insight on Water, however I did transfer to Light flight for a time and while that's not one of your options, I can definitely vouch that it fits your criteria - it was a wonderful flight to be in, very friendly and well-paced. c:

Besides forums, what are you interested in getting out of a flight?

I'm not going to break this down into pros and cons because it just depends on the person whether these are pros or cons:

Ice's forums are somewhat slow moving, although they pick up before/after registrations and during dom battles. (Everything is really clearly marked.) In general, I think the icicles are pretty mature/low drama from what I've seen. People are pretty friendly/generous. Our two big flight interests are dom and breeding (although breeders tend not to post on forums much). We've got the typical threads (familiar lending, lvl 25 lending, etc) that most flights seem to have. The ice eyes are pretty/go well with a lot of dragons and I really like our associated colors (whites/blues). I've been really happy there.
