I LOVE THE NEW APPAREL but yeah it kinda does render the crown pointless for my (current non-existent) earth rep :P

I will find a snapper to put the crown on. XD
as snappers always look good with the crowns on. -w-

Yeah the apparel this round so far hasn't been my favourite so I was pleasantly surprised by this festival's apparel! Hopefully the apparel will continue being awesome.
And the snappers do look the best with the crowns. I also tend to stick them on wildclaws because they look a little derpy hah

They did the same kind of thing last year for the Wind Festival - if you put both the Gustbellows Balloon and the Whirlwind Sash on spirals (y'know, the wind native breed), then the Balloon would completely cover the Sash. Pretty stupid

Oh yeah the holiday apparel also covers the sash. X)
Lol if you look at my rep noc ( on the second last page)
its sash is completly covered but it still looks decent and not glitchy like the crown.

Hehe this is why I don't go "IT NEEDS ALL THE APPAREL!!!!!" for my Flight reps, otherwise some of the apparel would be hidden. (I honestly wanted to at first but I realized a lot of the pieces looked better by themselves or with other themes.) Some of my festival apparel isn't even on Flight reps, but random dragons it looked good on.

I basically stick to only sticking the big festival apparel on my reps cause it looks nicer that way
Heck I don't even use the crowns/sashes or armbands anymore
(Although if it looks nicer on another dragon I'll also throw the big apparel on them too.)
