I'm thinking of moving over a Flight (once I get enough gems in four years of happy dragons...), to Water, Nature, or Arcane. I know nothing (up-to-date) about any of these Flights except for eye colors/aesthetics... Is there any good info on the forums and community?

I've only ever been in water, and I feel like I fit in pretty well there. The forums can be slow at times, but that works for someone like me, who has only ever used the forums once (this post is my second... yay!) I've found water to be really welcoming, and us droplets are always kind to newcomers. We're not the best with dominance, but we're not really dominance-obsessed anyway, so if that doesn't matter to you, water may be your perfect fit :)

We just like hanging out, chatting, and doing our own thing. Everyone is incredibly kind and supportive, if a little quieter (we've got lots of lurkers.) Our flight is sort of notorious for being "no rules," whether that's in dominance fights or just in the forums in general. We like staying low-key and drama free.
Those coming from big flights like Ice often say we feel a bit disorganized, but that's probably because we're just so laid back. We've got plenty of organization, it's just very open and casual - like a never-ending beach party!!
It's a nice place to be, especially if you're looking for a relaxing vacation :D

I'm in arcane and I've been here for 5 months, and from what I've seen so far, everyone is friendly.
I don't use the forums that much but I enjoy going through the arcane forums. :)

There's a lot of nature related talk in nature (as to be expected) :D
And of course, everyone is friendly same as other flights. But if you like plants, we've got you covered.

Arcane's pretty chill honestly. Advice on both FR things and real life things is pretty often brought up and given, and we have quite a few threads focused on writing (whether lore or general stuff). Also there's some nice positivity threads that pop up sometimes, and some weird topics dealing with either Arcane lore or Spacedad (though sometimes said threads are pretty interesting). There's also a pretty good support for lgbt+ and neurodivergent(?) people from the little amount of time I've lingered in the Arcane forum.
Dom talk's also kept most to the weeks we're pushing or the days leading up to said push. So if you want a less competitive flight on that front our forum's pretty good. (Though when we push we usually reach our goal!)
I kinda wander in and out of the flight-specific forum so I may not be the most accurate, but this is what I've observed so far. All in all it's pretty laid-back and friendly over in Arcane. If there's any drama I haven't noticed it (then again I tend to stay faaaaaaar away from drama).
Anyway, I'm kinda rambling, sorry. But I hope I helped some!

The Arcane forums are great! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I don't think I've ever seen a thread go unanswered, and people are very supportive and welcoming.
Laid-back is a good word to describe them. The forums are fairly active but tend not to have drama, which is great. Like Wisphaven said, dom is only a topic on the weeks we're pushing, so you won't get sick of seeing it. ;D

Ooh, both Arcane and Water sound pretty nice... what about Nature? I'm just avoiding any drama possible and going for a relaxing environment, so both of those do nicely, but there isn't much Nature-y input. I like Nature eggs and general health of life, are those the qualifications for Nature? ;)

I'm not from Nature (actually I'm in your current flight, heh), but I have an RL friend that I play FR with, and she's in Nature. Not gonna ping her here because she's super busy.
From what she tells me, there's lots of Nature talk, and everyone is super kind and there's very little drama. She said she went missing off the forums for a while, and got gifted a gene scroll when she came back. I haven't really heard her talk about forum pace, but I'm guessing it's slower than Wind, but not too slow either, since Nature isn't that small of a flight.
I hope that you find a nice flight wherever you go :)
