I've been stalking a lot of people on fr (sorry btw) to see what their dragons and lairs were like. I saw that a lot of people had organized lairs. You know, all pastels, all browns, all neons etc. Those lairs look suuuuuper nice and aesthetic-y, and I want that! Right now my lair is a big ol' mess. I won't exalt any of my current dragons but I think I want at least my first page to have sort of a theme. The problem is- what should it be |D? I've been thinking about a brown-red-gold kinda theme?

I've tried to have a theme several times, mostly browns or greens. Right now I've just organised them by colour...ish...because I want to sort my lore out.

I have a theme!!! I have a theme it's called blatant favoritism
heh anyway themed lairs are nice and pleasant to look at, but I myself haven't gone for a theme unless '100% lore oriented' counts as one, where my dragons are just sorted by how important they are to lore (and how much I personally like them as characters) ahah....

Mess is my aesthetic XD
but seriously, it is. When two dragons in the same pose stand next to each other it looks jarring to me, so I try to keep it as chaotic as possible. On purpose.
Have put rows of dragons in similar colours together, tho, so it's something.

ah i don't have much of a theme, but i do have some very colorful G1s. like @ Sinfony above me, i mostly just sort them on a sliding scale of color and hope for the best.

my theme is pink/arcane/sparkly dragons! my first page i think is the best example of what i want and the second is one's that don't fit the theme per say but i still love them (and their babies!) i organize my lair by pairs and the center dragon is either a coli dragon or one that doesn't have a partner. although my first two dragons are twins that were born during starfall!
at first i didn't want to exalt any but there came a point where they didn't really. for lack of a better phrase, serve a purpose to me and i had to say goodbye! since the botb was this week it was a good excuse for me to clean up my lair and figure out what i wanted with my lair

I didn't know about themes. But, mine is Light-like colors. Like my main Dragon, Hayzl. Other than that, mine is just organized in favoritism. I think I'm going to sort it by color, though.
