I had just finished transmuting the last slime I needed and was going to brew the second half of a set before bedtime... saw it was gone, checked the time on the update page and yep, they're gone. [RIP me not reading carefully, and thinking it ended at rollover. Did that happen to anyone else, heh?]
It was a fun anniversary thing while it lasted! I like the look of them and the brewing XP was pretty awesome. All the other colored sets will stay, which is nice too.

Aishea I did the same thing mine was due to me not getting home from work in time, I even woke up a bit earlier today before leaving for work so I could get 2 of the 3 apparel pieces I had left to brew done.

Aw man- yeah, I was busily trying to brew up one last bit of White Slime for the Tassel, and I totally missed the fact that the deadline for brewing all this stuff wasn't midnight. I'd made a copy of every piece of the set except for that one. Ah well. :(

I was on vacation during the event and totally didn't read the news post about the set being limited, so I wasted most of my time brewing the higher lvl set lol. I did manage to make a copy for 4/6 items in the end though, since a friend reminded me that they were going to be retired. So it wasn't a total fail :P

Lightning After poking around the forums I see that a number of people thought it would end earlier (last night, this morning, 8pm their time (not FR), etc.), so I do hope there are a number of extras out there.

Tharatira Yeah, I got a copy of 3/6. I'm glad the staff gave everybody one free set. That was a kindness. Especially to those who didn't log in this week at all.
Given that some people were brewing them like mad for the xp involved, I hope the prices won't get too crazy. Despite the retired status, hopefully the price will settle to something reasonable, maybe similar to NoTN apparel or the large apparel from recent festivals.

Thanks to the fact that nothing will ever permanently retire from festivals, there's no way anyone who wasn't around from the very beginning can ever hope to have festival items accumulate value like the year 1 and year 2 items have. Retired anniversary and (maybe) Marva items seem to be the only options to build up big value anymore.

The loga from last year's anniversary isn't too expensive yet, so I think this set will stay reasonable for quite a while.

i've been in the process of making extra pieces of the celebration set but i wasn't able to afford mats, so i was melting down my own. i was melting down food for the entire day trying to get a red. a single red. and baldwin refused. i got so much green and no red. thanks baldwin you're a real champ
