So I bought a Gen 1 when buying some exalts yesterday and I thought I'd scry her and see what she might look like gened. Anyway, when I was putting the scry in her bio, I noticed her name. She is called UnbredGenOne. Only thing is, she has 11 offspring.
Do you think she was named that way back and then whomever bought her, bred her and just never renamed her and then sold her? I'd feel bad if someone bought her from me thinking she had no offspring. Should I spend the treasure to rename her? If she doesn't sell I'll just train and exalt her anyway, but I don't want to mislead a potential buyer.

Most likely someone did that on purpose to gain treasure from her. Being bred that many times means plenty enough time to change the name, so it wasn't just a misunderstanding :/
No matter the chain of events, whoever sold her to you was being dishonest. Unless someone really wants her color combo, you'd probably profit more off of training and exalting her than anything else. If you still want to try and sell her, however, definitely rename her to something more honest before making a thread.

If she's sold at fodder price, I don't think the name matters. The rename scroll would cost almost as much as the fodder.

I would say rename her, to avoid confusion. But if you're selling her at fodder price, it matters less.

Yeah, that was my dilemma. I was thinking of trying to resell her since she scrys up nicely. Someone sent me a scroll, so I got her renamed.

Well, since she's one year old and still not RTB, I'd take that as a sign that she's been bred at least once.
Once the cooldown's over, that'll be trickier. I'd hope people would at least check but it's still great that you changed the name :D
