TOPIC | Hatchlings at Bedtime
Like in the 5 days it takes hatchlings to mature, do they act like normal babies/toddlers?
Imagine dragon parents telling bedtime stories or nursery rhymes to their kids.

" If you don't sleep The Shade will snatch you up in the middle of the night "

" The itsy bitsy arcanist climbed up the pillar, down came the shade and wiped sornieth out, out came the deities to chase the shade away, and the itsy bitsy arcanist never climbed again "

Also horrifying image #211: The Arcane sprite reading bedtime stories to The Arcanist.

But what about first generations? They don't have parents to tell them stories. Maybe others in the lair do?

Children, you do not go far enough. You forget all of the exalted hatchlings. Who reads them the bedtime stories they so deserve?

(The deities. It's definitely the deities.)

I've always imagined that by every day on Earth, four years have passed in Sornieth; similarly to us, most dragons are considered mature once they reach 20 years of age (not quite adults yet, I imagine that a 20-year old dragon in Sornieth are in their late adolescence).

That being said, I believe that it would vary with different clans and flights. Many Plague clans for example, the parents of the hatchling would have a more harsh approach - imagine "My Lullaby" but with dragons.

Wind dragons would have a similar approach to our own; playing soft music and singing gentle lullabies.

Why did I take this so seriously.
