Last Elemental Holiday I purchased a spare inventory crate containing a prismatic token, and never ended up spending it on any of the items in Joxar's Inventory that holiday. I hoped I could spend it this Starfall Celebration, but it has disappeared after I bought a new crate. Do prismatic tokens only exist on the holiday they were brought on?

No. They don't. Either a glitch, or you missed them. They usually sits at the very back of the others column in your Hoard.

I'm pretty sure they shouldn't disappear... Have you checked your Vault? Currency usually doesn't show up if it's in your Vault instead of the Hoard.

I had two left and got a third with this festival's crate, so no, they're not supposed to disappear.
