I don't know if this has been said already, but I thought it was worth sharing.
So we know that ridgebacks really don't like water. We also know that their primary (if not only) source of food is seafood. How does that work? I was considering this very question, my fellow dragons, when an idea came to me.
Water conducts electricity, and ridgebacks originate from the Lightning flight. They would know to avoid electrified water, even with their resistance - in fact, being intimately familiar with electricity, they would know its dangers better than anyone else. But what if early ridgebacks discovered this and used their lightning powers to electrify pools or streams and fry whatever lived in them? Easy food, and pre-cooked too, if you're lucky.
Thus, my hypothesis is as follows:
1. thunder snoot goes fwaah into pool
2. pool becomes ouchy - snoot do not touch
3. fish become dead
4. profit
Discuss.
