...who doesn't like the bee gene?

I like the wasp one that's coming out eventually, but the bee one... I would rather stick to facet, shimmer, etc. There's just...something about it.

Or maybe its just because I know I'll never get a dragon with it? I still don't even have an opal dragon since of how expensive they are.

I mostly dislike the overabundance of stale and unfunny bee puns. Everyone gets overhyped every time a new gene is released, and this happens e v e r y single time.

I mean, I like it?? But I can't find myself excited for it. I can't afford it anyway, but I don't have any dragons that'd look incredible with it. I'm definitely not buying a new dragon for it, I'd just end up exalting it in a few days anyway

I think that might just be the colors you're looking for? Opal hatchlings are fodder priced on the AH now so... Uhh... You could get one? Realistically? Though I agree, it's certainly not my favorite secondary. I might find a use for it eventually, but certainly not any time soon.

I'm not the type to gene a dragon with a gem gene (especially if it isn't even gen one) so I'm just kicking back right now and waiting for the eventual price drop.

For the opal dragons, most opal dragons so far with pretty, matching colors and that overall look good are really expensive. I've checked the AH and I haven't found any fodder priced outstandingly pretty opal dragons like the higher priced ones. I could manage to get one, but one that matches well...

Ah. Might just be me liking a lot of weird combos then... Being that I can find almost anything pretty *shrugs*

If you want, I can breed my own personal opal pair and give you a hatchling? I have a couple of their kids (Thrall and Quara) in my lair if you want to see what type of hatchlings they can have. Most likely to get guardians though as I haven't breed changed the male into a skydancer yet.
