Is it just me or is that a HUGE number??
I know we've had a bunch of new members but I'm so used to only seeing maybe 2000 online at one time, save for special events and the like! 8O I'm not complaining at all of course; if anything kudos to the mods for this site running smoothly with that number! I remember it used to lag bad when the numbers started hitting 3000 back then!

It's because our online user count doesn't play nice with daylight savings time. Because we're technically repeating the "hour" by falling back one hour, the users online count is counting all users active in the last 5 minutes twice, now, and in the time range that we just completed. It'll sort itself out by 2:00 server time. :)

Ohhhhh!! So there was something fishy about the number! Thank you so much for the clarification! QAQ I didn't doubt FR was popular but it just seemed like a massive number that came out of nowhere.

Humph. I live in the US where we don't do daylight savings but I guess my computer thinks I am on FR too much. It followed the FR server! Now I have to figure out what to do... my time is matching FR and it shouldn't be.

The northeast corner does DS because that is part of a Navajo reservation that covers the 4 Corners area (AZ, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico) and it would be confusing to take one fourth of the reservation to a different time.
Also Hawaii doesn't do DS.
