TOPIC | What to do?
So I've just joined and so far the only thing I've found to do besides buying dragons, is the games, anything else to do here?
I'm on a mobile so I maybe missing bits..

if your device is able to handle the fairgrounds it should handle the coli fine although itll probably be harder on mobile

How do you explore? You mean the dig/hunt thing

@TheChesireCat digging/hunting are both forms of gathering materials, not much to do there. There's always the fairgrounds with have a small collections of simple games which you can earn treasure from. Theres also the coliseum where you can basically play dragon pokemon.

2PD5mX1.png I've never hoarded items before but I've made it my goal to see just how much salt I can accumulate. Send me those sweet salt stacks, you wont regret it. (4968 piles of salt)

Go to the coliseum, starts a art/breeding/lore shop, play around in the forum games, discuss things in the forums, mess around in the scrying workshop, dress your dragons, start breeding or geneing projects, play games in the fairgrounds, start writing clan lore or dragon bios, participate in raffles, participate in your flight events or other FR events, and just poke around and explore the game!

There are a lot of layers to the game. Many of us joined because we liked the art style and wanted pretty dragons of our own. Getting genes for your progens costs treasure (or gems), so the next step was figuring out how to earn these. If there are familiars you like, you can work on getting those; if there's apparel you like, same. Here are some suggestions for seeing what the game has to offer:

--Scrying Workshop, where you can quite literally spend hours discovering breed/color/gene combos that you like
--Auction House, where you can look for dragons that match what you liked in the Scrying Workshop; also familiars, apparel, food, etc. Hint: It's often cheaper to buy familiars HERE instead of on the Marketplace!
--Fairgrounds, a good place to start earning treasure so you can afford what you like
--Forums, to chat with other players and learn things
--Coliseum, a safe if sometimes frustrating place to earn food, apparel, battle stones, trinkets, Festival currency during Festivals, and experience points for your dragons so they can level up
--Trading Post, where you can grab a free item once a day from Pinkerton, trade stuff for treasure with Crim, trade stuff for stuff with Swipp and his kids, and brew stuff into combinable items with Baldwin
--Flight Rising Encyclopedia, which has a lot of good information on the game and its different elements
--Flight Rising Wikipedia (off-site), which has lots more information and full-color images of the different familiars

And above all, have fun! Welcome! :)
