I was just wracking my brains trying to remember how many genes I've seen released?
If I'm not mistaken, the following genes were out during my registration window:
Primaries [Basic, Iridescent, Tiger, Clown, Speckle, Ripple, Bar, Crystal, Vipera]
Secondaries [Basic, Shimmer, Stripes, Eye spot, Freckle, Current, Daub, Facet, Hypnotic, Seraph]
Tertiaries [Underbelly, Gembond, Circuit, Crackle, Smoke, Spines, Okapi]
Which means that I've seen 31 genes come out. Good golly.

The first gene I saw released, was metalic I think? I thought no more genes were going to be added, and lil nooby me saw it, and freaked out XD

When I joined, ripple and current were the newest genes, and smoke came out a few weeks later
Genes before that (not including the new ones ^)
Primaries were: Tiger, speckle, clown, iridescent
Secondaries: Stripes, eyespots, shimmer, freckle, and seraph
Tertiaries : circuit, gembond, crackle, underbelly
It was pretty acceptable at the time to leave a color basic because sometimes it was hard to make a dragon look good with only those options

I came right after PoiTox. Giraffe/Hex were my first gene releases, but I'd already been on the site for some time by that point.

I remember when crystal came out, that was exciting, although I didn't really get what it meant at first. I also saw spines, facet, and okapi release, I think?
And then I disappeared into a long hiatus and missed everything up until last month
