light vs earth is tomorrow and the fodder floor is probably skyrocketing
this is great but the problem is i'm in light and i want to make money during this, so buying and exalting dragons is out of the question because with the future fodder floor i'll lose much more than i make
so what would be the best way to make money in this battle? i'm pretty sure i cant send dragons to my own flight's public buy so i think my choices are trying to snipe and sell in the realmwide auction house or send dragons to earth instead (thus betraying my flight)

Buy now, sell/exalt later! And hope you can snipe some dragons during the push

Honestly, I find participating much more fun, and I believe light flight probably has non loss programs for DOM where you don't need to spend any money. If they havesuch a program for exalting, you'd still earn money through all the food drops you'd get. Also, you could just wait for the DOM battle after LvE week to earn money.

@xxWolfii Snivy's right, we do have programs where you can exalt dragons (and earn raffle tickets!) at no personal cost to you, primarily the Sunburn. You can sell the drops and food that you get from grinding while helping us!

If you want to participate without losing money, check out the sunburn-- you'd be training the flight's fodder instead of your own, but you can sell your drops and it's the best and easiest way to participate in one of our pushes without hurting your wallet! If you're just looking to train and exalt without losing cash, check out the war camp and our Requisitioners-- they're fellow acolights who are volunteering their personal funds to buy that fodder off you for a reasonable price, so you can keep it inflight without having to sell to earth in order to make your profit.

I don't understand why people in a DOMing flight try to make such a small amount of cash selling dragons when they can make literally millions with clever use of the discount.

@AnnieGYG except during huge battles like this one would be you'd be able to make much more faster
take the light v plague battle, adult fodder hit 35kt from what i heard
if you saved up dragons until the very end and had about 150 adult dergs by the end (mostly maxed out lair or maybe had some of your permas/fodder dergs held by other people) and you sold em off on the auction house you'd get 5.25 mil treasure, and some people might make more due to sniping and reselling fodder a bunch
so for small battles where fodder floor is maybe 10kt at its peak then you might make more with the discount but if its a planned 2 months in advance battle held by two dom powerhouses you'll make 500% more money selling fodder than sniping the marketplace afterwards
