Sorry if this shouldn't be here, but I don't know where to post it.
Lately, exalting lairs have been purchasing dragons I have for sale. I mean, I know this is what they do, but I always put super cheap dragons in the Auction House which don't get sold, but the expensive dragons I want to get sent to a loving home get bought by people who are just going to exalt them? Why? Does anybody have an explanation?

Thanks everyone. I understanding that being exalted is an honour, but I get super attached to certain hatchlings and I felt really sad. I should pay attention to the forums and dominance battles but I find it hard to fit in to the community forums unless its something silly like "the funkiest dragon above you" type posts.
Shadow is never dominant so I always forget that dominance is a thing! Hahaha!

There is a dom battle going on so people are trying to get to the top. Its best to price them at least 50k or higher until this blows over.

There's a major battle between Earth and Light atm! Everything gets exalted- fodder could hit 25kt+ for the rest of this week so if you don't want them exalted I'd hold off on selling things (even hatchlings! people will exalt them in the final days of the push)
I do feel your pain- I learnt of dom battles slowly and saw a lot of my adults and hatchlings exalted with ridiculous names (or no names) but it is the nature of FR. And at least it means a lot of profit for those of us selling!
(Also there's some battle or something happening next week too, fyi. not sure what though so watch your prices then too)

DinkyBink Same... I sell unnamed dergs for my hatchery because people like to be able to name them, and then when this happens they get bought up and exalted without being named... I always name my fodder before selling but ugh, it really bothers me when dragons are exalted unnamed. I can work it around lore but that hatchie's going to be in the parent's bios forever & it means they were never loved too

So yeah, shouldn't be AS bad price wise if only one is conquesting but it will probably still keep prices higher

This is why it's important to keep abreast of the dom news. This push has been announced for a while, and everyone was expecting high prices. Even if you don't exalt or do dom, it's good to keep an eye on such things specifically for events like this.
