it not being completely symmetrical actually makes it seem more natural and unique
(it reminds me of my guinea pig lol, one side of his paws are a dark brown like the rest of his fur on that side, but his other two paws on his other side are pure white, instead of orange like the rest of his fur on that side or brown like his other paws)

It's shading, I believe. Coloring on things in the distance is less dramatic due to atmosphere. I'd like to remind you that Imperials are hecking large.

Circuit does that, but Orca colour is the reason for the off look otherwise.

It might be partially because the Imp has Cherub on, though, too? Cherub causes little stripes in some places that are darker than the shading that Piexelspiral posted above? So maybe the Cherub just helps it be more noticeable?

I had a derg with Circuit for the longest time and the missing color on the far feet drove me nuts until Capsule came out and I could change his tert.

I think it's meant to give the illusion of depth? It's an old gene, maybe that's why they aren't shaded like that anymore.

i dunno its not just the paw gradient that's faded but you can see the circuit markings are a bit faded too. I think it's just an illusion of depth.
