So i am curious, when you are looking to purchase a dragon, do you look at the flight/eyes to decide if you want to buy it? I have never really looked at the eyes/flight until recently, since i have been looking at some posts that are looking for a specific flight. Is it for lore purposes, aesthetics or something else? Is it a big part on purchasing a dragon?

thanks for your time :3
While the eyes/flight isn't necessarily the reason I would decide to buy a dragon, it can be the reason for me to decide to not buy a dragon. First and foremost I look at whether it's a unbred Gen1 with colors that I like. Sometimes I just immediately fall in love, and sometimes I first visit the Scrying Workshop to see what it could become. if the eyes then end up being too clashy, I most likely end up not buying the dragon after all.. (nice soft green colors with huge purple eyes?! I think not!)
I do however try to have the eleven flights represented equally in my lair :)

Generally yeah, I'll only buy dragons whose flight makes sense for the colours/themes I'm going for. A swampy nature-themed dragon with lightning eyes just doesn't look right to me. :p

If they eyes don't match, I will not buy a dragon. So they're typically one of the first things I look at when buying dragons.
I perosonally don't care all that much about a dragon's eyes, only in some cases. Most breeds have pretty small eyes when adult anyway, so you barely see the eyes, and you can always cover them up somehow if you really don't like the way it looks. The only time I really look at the color of the eyes is if I buy spirals and faes, because they have huge eyes.

Eyes can always be covered! So I've never seen it as a problem :D

It is said that the wearer of this mask is granted immeasurable power in exchange for his or her vision.
Yup, I'm always saying to myself "if it had X eyes I would buy it"
For example, this guy would have looked completely different if he had, say, fire eyes.

I usually buy on lore purposes. If the flight doesn't match the lore I think up, it's a no go

Me too!
Not always though, when I buy a dragon I know I would just breed once and exalt a month later I don't really care, but when it comes to beautiful and expensive dergs they have to be PERFECT.
Aaand I'm super weak to Fire, Plague, Water and Shadow eyes. They're always adding such a beauty to a dragon
