I've been seeing alot of dragons decked out in full skins and have been wondering if i'm the only one who prefers accents of light skins. I like my dragons genes to shine through; when planning apparel, im careful to make it extragavant yet able to show case those lovley genes i hunted the site of bred for. I dont have accents/skins atm, but wold love to pick up some light accents as my treasury grows. To me, a full skin on, say, a bee/wasp negates the purpouse of paying or breeding that dragon- i want those shiny bee wings to show! Am i the only one who thinks this way?

Usually I feel the same way, although I occasionally find full skins that I like. They're usually transparent to some degree, though.
I'm pretty much the same way, but some skins I just find so pretty that i'll temporarily use them. My avatar is a good example of that.
Also like to put pretty skins on gen ones that haven't got all their genes yet.

Skins are very useful for dragons who are valuable or sentimental in some way to their owner but the dragon has awful or mismatching genes/colours. Not everyone can or wants to sink money into Scatterscrolls, and full skins are great for giving them a makeover!
I personally prefer accents and skincents (accents that cover more than 30% of the dragon and therefore have to use the skin blueprint). But whenever I have breeding project dragons who are only in my lair long enough to give me the hatchling I want, I often give them skins to wear because I just have so many from being on the site for so long lol.

I can't stand full skins. I don't like the idea that a dragon is completely covered up. However, if it's a skin that has just a small trace of the dragon showing, through transparency or slivers, I'm fine with it.
@Wintermoon33
I do not like full skins unless they are being used for a very good reason. They are terrible. Accents for me thank you. The one exception I have is Nebulosa for male Faes. That's a cool skin.

Nah, I don't like them. There's some exceptions, like others have said - I slapped one on a dragon I was scattering because the ugly colors bothered me. Putting them on Gen1s while saving up for their genes, or putting them on breeder dragons (either for fodder or for a specific dream dragon) are both also good ideas I hadn't considered before.
So they definitely have their uses! But it's definitely not putting them on a pretty dragon as a finished product, imo.
