@Jupiteru Huge congratulations - he looks amazing! Buying that first gem gene feels like such a great achievement, no?
My project list is currently insane XD And part of the problem is knowing who to go for next! I tend to like to finish a project, so I won't gene a dragon unless I can get all of their genes in one fell swoop. But then there are some exceptions to this, like if they need some treasure and some gem, or if their mate is also waiting for genes... my next goal is to finish my [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&id=133428&tab=dragon&did=24339460]Plague[/url]/[url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&tab=dragon&id=133428&did=24339336]Nature [/url]pair and make them into this!

I made over 20kg during NOTN selling off my Strange Chests after opening a bunch and going "nah" after getting Smirch for the umpteenth time, but 20kg sounds like more than it actually is when you have several breed change and gem gene projects. For example, this is one of my g1s:

It's hard to save, and some weeks I do better with saving than others, depending on what's going on and what I need done. I managed to get some of my treasure MP projects done recently because my bestie's in Plague and when they had their discount she sniped some scrolls for me. I tend to have more money during elemental festival weeks because I sell Baldwin mats then and sell off as much fest currency and skins as possible (after I get what I want for myself). I do a lot of fodder grinding in the coliseum and I do a lot of Baldwin genes for my projects (in addition to gem and treasure MP genes) so every so often I work till I have X for Baldwin and then I brew and grind some more.
As far as who to gene first, it's usually either in order of what's easiest to do, and who I'm most excited about. The remaining gem scrolls are lower priority for me, especially with Pinstripe, Trail, and Ghost being a hot item right now, I'm working on those projects first. I'll get to the gem scrolls eventually. Then when my project list is complete, I'll be working on getting more Sprites, and retired fest apparel. I always have things to do, goals to save up for. Keeps things interesting.

Serpenthyne I was selling them for about 19g each. I was in the coli A LOT and racked up a lof of Strange Chests. After doing the math I decided it was more profitable to do this than open and hope I got a Nocturne egg to sell, because my ratio of Nocturne eggs to everything else wasn't good and the apparel and familiars from the chests still doesn't go for a lot. I have no regrets about selling most of my Strange Chests, I got a few eggs and the Wildclaw girl up there was one of them, and that was enough to satisfy me with chest-opening and hatching. The 20kg didn't go very far considering how many dergs I have to gene up still and how many of them will be Coatls with gem genes, but it was still something, and that was my first NOTN and I had zero preparation.
I don't make anywhere near that much from other holidays, though I can make about 1mt during a festival week just from Baldwin mats if I'm transmuting round the clock the weeks before.
