I was looking at the World Map and reading about each clan's territories, and I just love how ancient lairs of the wind clan live on a giant kite that looks like their noodle father, Windsinger.
What happens if a dragon unable to fly, such as a Snapper, falls off the kite?? Do they die or is there some kind of safety feature under the balloon to catch fallen dragons?

id imagine thered be exalts who work specifically to catch dergs falling off cloudsong and all of those exalts are imps, guardians or ridges.

or there's a huge trampoline at the bottom (wherever that is) that catches them and they bounce back up
