One of your dream dragons has appeared on the Auction House. Problem is, it's got a high price tag.
What do you do?
- Buy it anyways, even if you have to purchase gems for it using $ you prob' shouldn't be spending
- Contact the current owner to hold it for you for a couple days (though there's always the chance you can't enough in the allotted time)
- Pass on it, and see if you can breed the color combo yourself
- Other?
I'm curious to see what others would do? Share your thoughts, please.
edit edit: I was able to buy 2 of the 3 that were in a few of my dream dragons range. However there is this one other that's priced at 5000g and it's a common/semi-common color combo. I'm going to ask them about it - if they can sell it for a lot less, but my best bet for that may be to breed that one myself?

I would definitely buy it. If it’s a dream dragon, then it’s worth it! =D

Well I suggest contacting the owner and asking for a hold. If it's a rare combo, you might not be able to find another like it any time soon. You can always ask for an extension if you find yourself with too little money, or do a payment plan.

All of my dream dragons are gen1s or imps. It depends on the combination of genes and whether it's been bred.
It also depends on how high a price we consider 'high'. If it's 400g or below, I'll buy. If it's above, it's iffy. I'll go higher if it's something I'm not likely to find twice.

i'm broke all the time but I can earn money if I try hard enough.

Haggle with the owner. Most of my dream dragons have weird and very rare combos.

Contact the owner and see if I can negotiate it down a little if it's just a regular dragon - if there's something special about it (art/levels/gen one with genes) then I'll ask if they can hold or accept items

I'd be willing to spend a TON for it if it already had the genes I want.

It depends on what "high" is, but if it's my dream dragon then I'll probably buy it.
