How many scatterscrolls do you usually have to buy until your dragon looks good/has the right colors?
And how do people get gems for all those scatterscrolls? Buying them?

As I don't mind basic or covering a weird secondary with an accent, it usually takes me 1-3 scrolls to hit a decent combo. Sometimes I get lucky and all three colors are workable, yay XD

Ive only used two scatterscrolls. I basically saved up by putting every single gem I ever earned into my vault. A gift from a friend and many Baldwin mats sold late, boom scatterscrolls.
I would of done it again but I decided that Carmine/Forest/Midnight was good enough.

Sometimes it takes only one use, sometimes it takes 20, sometimes it takes forever. Honestly, that completely depends on what kind of person you are, and what exactly you're looking for in a scatter. :P For example, someone who's only looking for a specific color range (ex: only yellows and golds, only greens. etc.) because of lair aesthetics, vs someone who just wants three colors that can work with each other and isn't too picky.
