Apparently, he "accidentally" fired one off in the break room of our HQ and it subsequently flew right into our printing press! The President scolded him and charged him with adding gifts to singed copies. So some of our subscribers might find some extra fiery gifts along with this edition! [/columns] [font=Century Gothic][size=4] Before we get into the festival revelations, you might notice your local Twisting Lights Delivery Owl (when they reach your clan) looks a bit different than usual. It is a custom among the dragons of our clan to dress up for the holidays so for this week only will we be sporting our fiery new looks! We will also be holding a little costume contest to see which of our Delivery Owls best represents the Fire Flight! As for how my clan will be celebrating Flameforger's Festival, I am not really certain. Our Fire Mage and Fire Representative bid the clan adieu only last month, and as they usually organize ceremonies and events for this week I'm not sure what might be in store. However, it's always been Ventus Clan tradition to set off a huge pyrotechnics display on the first night of the festival, and for dragons to craft vibrant paper lanterns that we hang around the village. I expect there will be a barbecue and bonfire most nights in the town square, with lots of gifts being exchanged and stalls selling festival items popping up around the market. The Ventus Clan loves to celebrate, you see, no matter what flight or deity we're hailing. For us it's all about bringing together friends and making lasting memories! I am dismayed to hear about the current turmoil in the Ashfall Wastes and Sundial Ruins. I do hope that the spats between Fire dragons don't leave their holiday ruined- and that everything settles down as soon as possible. Some of my clanmates are following the situation as well, and the Emperor near you is very concerning. Is it affecting your operations at all? We're also very excited about the talk we've been hearing here- there might be a new edition of the Sorneith World Map coming out soon! it's been years since the thing was updated, and the one on my wall doesn't match up with smaller maps at all. My clan, Twisting Lights, has a mail service and messengers that the clan refers to as "Delivery Owls" who fly messages back and forth to their respective assigned flights. In this time of chaos, my clan has been going a bit crazy trying to find out all the information it can to keep themselves and other dragons safe. Hence the Twisting Lights Post was born! In newspaper/reporter style I will be writing shortened versions of each new lore book that comes out for others to read. I will also be writing new up coming articles about future admin updates, festival announcements, and dominance pushes. They will be in the perspective of dragons currently living in Sornieth right now and I will be adding in a bit of extra lore to make the articles feel more realistic. Due to suspicious circumstances, he was forced to leave his birth clan and wandered into the dark places around Sornieth until he was approached by a white Skydancer who offered him a job. The President always keeps a close watch on Hadley's fragile mental health but trusts him to do his job well. She often gets nervous when it becomes her turn to make public announcements. Being the largest breed in the team often makes her feel self-conscious but the President chose an Imperial specifically for the Fire and Water flights due to the volatility of both regions. Although kindhearted in nature, Amara possesses excellent investigative abilities and due to her striking appearance she often succeeds in recruiting many valuable informants.
