TOPIC | What do things even cost now
Back from a hiatus, and I’ve got a bunch of old accents and festival chests from times long past. Is there a market for such things? How do we determine pricing now - what genes are desirable, are doubles/triples still worth something? How do I play dragon game?

Welcome back!

Festival chests are hard to sell. Old accents might be a little easier, but I don't know.

Low digits (6 digits or sometimes low 7 digits) sell well. Doubles sometimes sell well, but some types are oversaturated.

Triples are harder to sell now.

Okay, so first of all, now things are very simple not really but- BASICALLY the older an item is, the more valuable it gets. Retired items, familiars etc. are also very valuable, and also kickstarter stuff are impossible to get.
if you have a light sprite you are basically the one of the richest ppl on the site

If you go to the Encyclopedia, there's a special section dedicated to retired items, you can check that out.
Ah, and also at the Action House, you can check the prices for the old stuff you have, I bet you'll be amazed.

And yes, doubles and triples are worth a bit more, Bee and Wasp are the newest gem genes and are highly priced.

I hope this helped!

Hello there, fellow rain enthusiasts. I bless rains, for free! That's quite a deal, if you ask me- I can fill up your local water reserve and sprinkle your garden, all at the same time!
The AH has been greatly improved, if you search for things you have finding current prices is fairly easy. Festival gear prices are super random - sprites, the popular festival apparel and skins go for a bundle. Others you're lucky to sell for what it cost from the MP. Research carefully.

Triples don't demand the price they once did. Rare colours may still be worth a decent amount. XXY is fairly popular, but usually only if the colours - especially accent colours in newer genes - match the tert.

Most of the dragon market is fodder. Even imps. Even all gem gene dragons. Be prepared for dragons to not sell at all unless they go for fodder, or for the price they do eventually sell at to seem shockingly low. New genes on dragons go through an extremely fast devaluing curve, even new gem genes. Newer genes, as a rule, are worth more, and demand for 'old' (idk, pre 2016?) genes can be low. The G1 market is hellish and basically unless you win the dragon lottery, the egg is worth more unhatched.

6 digit and older dragons are climbing in price quite rapidly from what I've seen, even uggos with basic genes and unnamed offspring.

Price of eliminates (and rally to a lesser extent) has gone mental.

Lots of people are in coli now so the price of all the other drops is likely down from what you're used to. A level 25 dragon is probably a lot cheaper too.

Gem/Treasure ratio fluctuates a bit. Was about 1:850 last time I looked.
