Oh, I totally get this. It took me several regenings to get my progens to feel juuuuust right.

It completely makes sense to me @DuskAwakening. I like my progens staying basic, and it's part of my (in progress) clan lore that almost all their children will be exalted, so it works out perfectly having my basic loves.
On a side note, I love what you've done with your progens skin/apparel-wise, and I love even more that they share my birthday!!

You are not alone. I gened up my custom progen almost immediately when I joined, but my random progen I just couldn't put genes on. I've scry'd him several times and sure, some combos look great, but not him. So he remains basic, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

The only gene I've put on my progens is Toxin on my custom, and even then it was more of an impulse thing than anything. (Plus it fits his outfit)
There are a lot of really lovely things I can do with my random, but then I feel like it just wouldn't be her. Sure, her looking pretty would be nice, but it wouldn't fit with her rough and tumble attitude.
