exalting can be used as many purposes in lore. i use it as imprisonment, death, or just the regular "serving the deity". what do you do?

ive only ever exalted fodder so they just get sent to winddad to do exalt stuff

Pretty much the same thing. Death/travelling/missing/actually serving a deity/etc.

I bred two of my permas together a bunch before I really valued clean offspring lists and ended up exalting them all, so I said that while the pair was travelling the world with their kids, they stopped off in different lands that they loved while passing through and stayed to serve that diety. It was the kids' choice to worship a deity other than the one they grew up with. Most were exalted to Ice but are now Light since I moved, one is with Earth, the other Wind. Those two I must have put on the AH during a battle.

In my lore, they either voluntarily go to serve Icepop, or they're forced to go serve Icepop.

In my lore, exalted dragons are travellers who stopped to rest in my clan's territory on their way to the Lightweaver! Except for my permas' exalted hatchlings; I just pretend they don't exist in my lore, haha.

Basically going in to the army full time.

In my lore, its maybe an act of honor or just a result of trying to help the deity. Mostly I think its just serving the deity.
