I've been struggling to get enough gems for the gem marketplace items. I just recently bought the Kelpie mane bundle and while I'm slowly regaining what I had before, it's an uphill battle. I've been mostly making it step by step by selling food and such, but are there any other effective methods of earning gems?

never let your cauldron go empty. always be transmuting something if you think you can check every 30 minutes. not sure if you can? throw something longer in to brew. gene scrolls make great overnight brews.

baldwin is a great way to make gems. always have something brewing if you can, and make beakers. and always do something that takes longer at night. check the ah to see what sells the for more and what doesn't. but overall it all adds up if you're good at saving and you're on top of brewing and selling.
you can always open up an art shop if you're decent at art, that's how i've been making a lot of gems tbh. i still do baldwin to make treasure and i rely on my art to make me gems.

When a flight has a public buy, buy fodder for gems and sell it to said flight for more gems. I made 100g+ over the course of a few days that way.
