does anyone else feel kinda meh about the game? I'm hugely disappointed by this market change.

I mean, a large part of this website for me was grinding in the coli to raise and exalt fodder. But now that profit margin has minimized to the point where grinding for two hours doesn't really make a difference, especially when there's only like five or six dragons available for reasonable fodder prices anyway.

Obviously, I breed my own fodder but that's only twice a month, so like, what's the point?

Does anyone feel the same way? Can we do anything about it? Does anyone have any suggestions where I can make pretty consistent money and/or make the game interesting again?

Fodder costing more is a bad thing?
Color me surprised. I thought people wanted to make quick cash on here. Ah well.
Breed your own dragons and sell them for less if you dont like the fodder price I guess. The market is set by the userbase. When there is a Dom fight or a swell of new users, prices go up and people make more money.

Prices change every week. Maybe tomorrow they will drop.

And is not a bad thing for me at all. If I can't train fodder I just resell.

you could always buy fodder as 3-5 day old hatchlings and then train and exalt when they reach adulthood.

with the new coli, i find it easier to train fodder so i dont mind the slightly inflated prices right now. but im sure they will go down to normal soon enough.

You just need to wait until prices go down. There's been a few big pushes for dom recently, so prices should become reasonable again in about a week or so. In the meantime, you should try sniping cheap fodder, using the fairgrounds, or taking advantage of Tomo and Crim.

I buy 4-5 day olds and let the majority of my fodder age up in my lair and the other part I snipe, so to me the higher prices just means more opportunities to resell the non-bonus fodder that grew up in my lair

EDIT: oh, I can recommend not having dedicated fodder pairs - they just take up space, just buy a pair any time you have a nest open as that way you can have 4 nests out of each nest space in a month.

@Canbeezy I don't know if I can help you with that because I'm a newbie, but I surely find the game addictive, so let me try!

For treasure, I simply follow a pattern. I have a hatchery, I sell dragons, and those who doesn't get sold I exalt them at lvl 9-11 in coli. I try to keep 3 or 4 pairs of fae-guardian-mirror-tundra dragons, so every week I have a new fodder nest and I keep having income!

In games, I try to play the Higher or Lower game every hour, or a bit more, because it's easy, quick, and you get between 65t and 1635t every hour. If I feel like I have more time, I use Tidal Trouble, because you can farm a good 1kt per minute, or even more!

Also, between Coli and Gathering, I get many objects that, if they don't hold any purpose with Baldwin or Skipp, I transform them into material! Because it sells more, and you get a lot by selling them in stacks, more than with the actual item.

Of course, with that I can get more levels, and with higher stuff I can also get to sell eggs and genes! Which sell for high too. Also, check for Skipp stuff, because there's always stuff you can exchange, and either the items or the objects get really expensive, so you can sell them. You get those items in coli mostly!

At least that's how I get money <3 I'm about to complete my 4th page like that. Also: check Raffles and Giveaways frequently. They're always giving away stuff. Also, there are organizations in each flight that help you gain money.

There are many ways! Or at least those are the ones I use. I hope it helped you somehow <3

Lair Cleanout!
Dergs I'm looking for!

@Canbeezy

The prices have gone up because of big dominance pushes. And since Plague and Arcane are going to have pushes soon, they will most like stay up for a while. but don't worry, they will eventually lower back to their usual level.

If you keep a close eye on the AH, you can also snipe cheap fodder. I just bought 3 adult dragons for 3500t each!

Edit: I always keep my nests full so I will have a steady fodder output. I recommend trying it!

I made enough for a whole page expansion this week with money to spare. Mostly sniping, but I don't mind buying high as long as my funds level out. Granted, because we're pushing I'm doing 100+ dragons a day, but it's the same, it just takes longer on off weeks.

Protip: unlock 5 nests, have dedicated fodder pairs (plentiful breeds, make sure they aren't the same breed for the chance of 5 eggs), always have a pair rtb and put on nest. That's 1-5 dragons every day, which is 11-50k profit if you level to 7. I level to 10. 15k pure profit.

If you have the space, buy more hatchlings. At 4k, that's still netting you 7k profit a dragon if you level to seven. I try to level at least 10 dragons a day, that nets me a mil a week levelling to ten.

In addition, I hoardsell like crazy once I get full stacks, and that's approximately another 100k every so often.
