I want to get one so I can give them a bazillion of those 'your dragon as an animal' adopts.

i feel like it doesn't count, but i have a fandragon who does it. XD she turns into a black cat in canon.
other than that, i have a werewolf and some shapeshifting kitsune-subspecies dergs who can turn into animals if they want, aaaaand... i think that's it lmao

She's just a rumor, but she's notable enough to be mentioned under this. Angling her wings, she can reflect light to visually transform, and possibly physically as well.

I still need to get a shapeshifting dragon. There are so many possibilities I might even make several (say, a group of five?)
The ability could include not only FR food items but also familiars and even other dragons. Perhaps it's a scholar researching breedscrolls and color scatterscrolls
Imagine a fae turning into an imp-sized spiney whale, or a ridgeback suddenly vanishing as a miniature frog or amphithere, or a cunning mirror infiltrating a beastclan community
Although it could also mean that there could be a longneck hiding in your lair, spying on your clans activities
Companion apparel and Marva cloaks give so many rp possibilities too, particularly since frogs and snakes are brewed.
