Flight Rising Discussion

that inspired you to try out FR ? Because I do have one . It's this book serie . I absolutely adore it . I bought all the books of the whole serie and keep them with me . They're my treasure now and no one can pry them out of my hand even if I'm dead . I find this serie so special because the main characters are the dragons themselves and how other races represant in their eyes . Most books do mentionned dragons a lot but main characters are always humans or other humanoid races and not the dragons themselves . So the first time I saw flight rising where we can make nothing except dragon races and the lore mention other races aka beastclans I immediatly jump in the game because it makes me think about Age of fire . How about you all ? Do you have something similiar that inspired you to play FR ? Well, I've always liked dragons, but I guess it would be Wings of Fire for me! I remember seeing the first book back when it came out, but I didn't start reading it until 2015.

i realise i never was into media involving dragons extensively. well technically there was dragon cave before i joined fr but i liked dragons before that too

I've liked dragons and winged things for a long time now, but I had probably started falling in love with dragons due to Wings of Fire.

I did read Age of Fire though, but much later on.

I like dragons.

It's probably Wings of Fire for me.

I mean... I just like dragons, yeah. I think they're real neato. If anything, Flight Rising is the thing that has driven me to check out more dragon themed stuff.

It originated so far back that I don't quite remember what exactly it was... (thank plaguebringer it wasn't wings of fire... no offense to any fans of the series, it just makes me cringe internally) But I do remember a book. I searched pretty extensively for this book and I haven't been able to find it. I'm fairly certain it was called Dragon Tales, and it was a story about a girl that learns to ride a dragon (that she wasn't supposed to?). It had a green, I think iridescent folding hardcover. That book was my muse when I was a child, but I can't find any traces of it...

I've always liked dragons but maybe it helped that my school's mascot was a dragon.
