I'm getting really tired of the "Water doesn't exist" bit. Like I get that some people find it funny but it seems to have run its course imo. I already have to deal with my missing dad (F), I don't need my flight to be missing too. :(

Editing for clarity: I'm not trying to get people to stop, I know how it was started, and I'm not trying to equate to "real issues." I was just venting a bit of my frustration, not trying to start a fight or argue about it or upset people. Sorry if it came off that way, it wasn't my intention.

It's quite annoying, yeah. I'm not even in neater and it bugs me.

I'm not in Water, but as an Ice rep, I do understand the feeling of being either forgotten or outright ignored. It's funny maybe once or twice, but it gets old pretty fast. And Water's been meme-d plenty since Tidelord went missing. I can totally get how that gets frustrating.

About a month (or two?) ago, there was actually someone in Arcane's subforum who was asking if anyone else got really annoyed or upset that Arcane/Arcanist always gets the blame when something goes wrong (which is where the phrase "Thanks Arcanist" comes from), and I literally said "At least we aren't Water and constantly getting 'What Water flight? lol' all the time.

If it makes you feel better, I know you guys exist and I appreciate ya'll hosting my Water breeding pairs for pretty blue eyes. ;;

Honestly every flight is memed for something so there's not much to be triggered about. It's just everyone poking fun when it's their time.


Yeah Water flight doesn't exist because Tidepod is missing and you kinda need your deity. And the water flight is small and quiet.

And, Yeah, the Arcanist has made some pretty messed up things happen so we should be able to meme the near destruction of Sornieth.

can't make fun of something that doesn't exist man its okay no one means any harm by it. Lets make a list of things to make fun of for other flights while I'm here though:

Earth: dirt. Booooring. And hasn't there dad been asleep this whole time?
Wind: left for the wyrmwound for like 3 years without saying a word
Fire: every anime protagonist
Shadow: edgy™
Light: holier than thou I love you light don't hurt me also deity created a dragon that if they die together makes an insane giant zombie dragon abomination
Ice: dad has t i n y ears, also their territory is melting away rip ice peeps
lightning: dad yells a lot about work, meanwhile the members of lightning are total statistic nerds
Arcanist: LITERALLY almost ended the world, everyone blames him for stuff
Nature: almost as boring as earth. Mom has a beard. Everyone's a hippie.
Plague: also edgy™

Yeah I can see how it gets annoying. When I first saw/heard the joke I decided to go along a bit but now it's just so annoying. Anytime *anything* water related happens it's always "What's a water flight?" I get a bit tired of seeing it myself. Its honestly as bad as shadow and plague getting bad reps, if not worse at this point. I can't imagine how annoying it must be to be in water because of it. :|
