I only have a limited selection of dragon breeds I allow in my lair. There are those I definitely love and those I definitely hate, but one breed I'm always back and forth on is Ridgebacks.
Cause like...sometimes I don't want them in my lair because their long noses are hilarious and ridiculous. And other times, I really do want them in my lair because their long noses are hilarious and ridiculous.
So convince me! Should I allow Ridgebacks to enter into my clan, or should I not? Humorous arugments are preferred ;)

Any ridgebacks that you allow in your lair must be accompanied by apparel that hides their ridiculous noses. If that doesn't succeed, any other apparel that at least disguises them enough that they can't be proven to be actual ridgebacks.

Counting only permas, my approach is (fairly accidentally) to always have exactly one Ridgeback, a male, in my lair. That way the silly nose is just a feature of that 'character' and not a recurring element that can make my whole lair silly (not that my lair needs any help being silly).
I certainly feel like having at least one Ridgeback makes a lair so much more cheerful.
Counting only permas, my approach is (fairly accidentally) to always have exactly one Ridgeback, a male, in my lair. That way the silly nose is just a feature of that 'character' and not a recurring element that can make my whole lair silly (not that my lair needs any help being silly).
I certainly feel like having at least one Ridgeback makes a lair so much more cheerful.

Hmm, perhaps one day there will appear in Sornieth some manner of drapery specifically for ridgeback noses! Like curtains for their eyes =')

Somehow though...I feel like the noses are the whole point of Ridgebacks, so if I'm going to have one in my lair, it might as well be a male haha XD

Really though, I hatched him one day late at night and gened him that same night. I love him for not reason and he is a comfort dragon for me.

(Okay, but in all seriousness, having one or two Ridgebacks isn't too bad of a choice. You can put it in the back of your lair or smth if you're not too sure and then just look at every now and then when you're in the mood for some happiness. If you do want a serious permadragon, you can always get a female and just give her some spiky outfits to make up for her lack of snoot.) :)
