Hi there!
I've been on fr for a long time, but I have a) never owned a hatchery and b) never been very active on the forums.
But now I have two hatcheries! And I'm kind of stuck with what to do next. The front page of sales turns over very quickly, and I'm wondering how I'm supposed to get anyone to see my dragons at all.
I've put banners in my signature (as you might notice), but that's as far as I've gotten. Is this all I can do?
any tips or advice appreciated! Thank you!!

You can ask to be affiliates with other hatcheries. That means that they'll have a link to your hatchery somewhere on their front page, and you'll have a link to their hatchery too. Dual promotions! Also, you may want to change your buttons to include the word hatchery (Living Stone Hatchery, The Future of Sornieth, a Hatchery, etc.) to let people know that the buttons in your signature are for hatcheries, and aren't part of your lore, or just something cool you put up. :)

Wow, I didn't know about affiliations, that's brilliant!! I'll have to start looking around for some related hatcheries!
And... that's an excellent point lol I'll be fixing those up to be a little more clear.

I would also strongly suggest using the word Hatchery in your banners!
The Future of Sornieth sounds like a Fanfiction / Story / RP Thread, for example, so I was confused for a moment!
Other than that.... being affiliates!
And from there on just keep on doing your hatchery thing - eventually, you'll have more people who know about you and what you're doing! : 3
And your pinglist will grow!

Thank you! I honestly hadn't even thought of changing the resources I used in the body of the hatchery threads, but it makes perfect sense that that would be confusing.
I appreciate the encouragement! I don't expect a lot at the beginning, just to get the word out ^.=.^
EDIT: I hope you don't mind me emulating your signature style. It's very simple and neat, and it seems like a good solution until I have time to futz around with an image-editing program haha

I don’t have a hatchery but I’ve been trying to advertise my art shop occasionally, and maybe if you look through the dragon search threads a bit you can find people looking for stuff you can get out of your hatchery, should help fill up pinglists a bit!
