TOPIC | What changed with multi-gaze eyes?
We have corrected a number of art errors with the Multi-Gaze eye type art.
What exactly changed about multi-gaze? I can't tell the difference offhand.

@Shisa white pixelated outlines, some of the lineart wasn't colored properly, and some of the "original" eyes didn't match (male Coatls showed their old eyes rather than the new Common ones, for example). most of that got fixed, although several breeds still have off-color lineart. compare a double Obs Fae hatchling scry with a double Obs Imp hatchling scry and you can see it pretty well on flights like Light.

Yeah, most of the outlines got fixed.... But the dragons with eyes over lineart still have them. Eyed shoulders should still not be a thing.

The cursed white pixels! I was hoping they would have changed the eye placement for some breeds though

I'll Secondary Gene: Morph to someone else. I'm just a Tertiary Gene: Ghost Sprsme376.gifSprcr079.gif
I was really hoping they'd change the pupils on some of the breeds. Not all of the breeds have slitted pupils, such as this random tun that pulled up when I went to go check on the differences. An' then yeah, placements in regards to lineart, musculature... While it's nice that they've gotten the white cleaned up, I'm still a bit iffy on the whole matter.

I'm back.
Eh, I was hoping they'd rework it quite heavily, since it's a shame such a great concept is executed with so many problems. Eyes in odd places (not taking anatomy into account), shape/design clashing with the original eyes... But now that they did something about pixelization and other minor art issues that hope is gone. :/ I mean, it's better than not correcting it at all, but... you know. I think only Spirals have matching Multi.

@Nryenth I was hoping for the same thing, but yeah, it won't be happening. At least spirals do look great with it?

All I want is for the pupils to be changed to match the eyes on the face. I don't get the people who want the eyes to be moved. Like, you say they should take anatomy into account, but I kinda thought the whole point of adding multiple eyes was that you're ignoring the laws of normal anatomy.

I think the reason the pupils are all the same is for, like, art standardization reasons? Something like that? But they really should match the face eyes.

I'm mostly irked that the eyes don't follow the same contours as the existing genes, and in some cases clip over the genes in really awkward ways. Young skydancers especially look cringy, the eyes don't follow the line of the body at all.
