I always figured Beastclan familiars were the only ones that can speak. I guess the nymphs can speak too? What about the other fest familiars? Or maybe they're just arguing in sprite language?

My favorite line so far is the Light Sprite calling the Shadow Sprite a Baku Snout when she's losing!

I've always figured that on average, a Sprite can speak a simplified version of draconic (akin to a young hatchling's comprehension of the draconic language), however, are capable of learning complex linguistics and speaking fluently with training.
Sprites themselves have developed somewhat of their own language which they use to communicate with one-another; a combination of complex body language and traditional language.

I really love the insults/curses they keep throwing at each other. I wonder if "Pine needles" is a common Shadow phrase for when something isn't going well, or if Light dragons call others "Baku snouts" when they're irritated with them.
