So a Guardian would turn from a little bab into a dragon after 15 days. And an SD would take 25 to turn into an adult.
No dressing in apparel or skins, no breeding, and no leveling until the cooldown ends.

I actually wouldn't be bothered by this at all. I'd rather have something cute to look at while on the first cool down than impatiently waiting for my adults to hurry up so I can breed them. Especially Coatls and Imps.
