I can see larger dragon breeds call a short member of their species a Fae to mock them.

I have a few thoughts...
- tell someone to go enter a staring contest against a cockatrice
- jump in/take a sip/take a quick dip (it varies) in/of (depending on the precursor) the Wyrmwound. This insult is lost on plague dragons.
- insulting a pearlcatcher's pearl probably wouldn't be too great, if you could work with that somehow?? ("what a dull pearl... just like it's creator" or something idk man)
- calling dragons with bad memories tundras, and small dragons faes, regardless of breed. (which is rude on many accounts)
- i feel like telling a lightning dragon that their work is shoddy would be pretty offensive (it'd be offensive to almost anyone, but lightning dragons are especially hard workers bc of mr. bossdad)
- "pet an angry fire sprite", or any other variation that involves making physical contact with any familiar that could be toxic/harmful. (as expected, ones involving firey or hot familiars don't have much of a sting against fire dragons, and toxic ones for plague.)
- "kiss a lurefish" ([item=longjaw lurefish][item=lurefish])
Within my own clan, calling another dragon a coralclimber (these guys: [item=noxious coralclimber][item=leopard coralclimber]) is an insult (i freaking hate these things, and as an extension, all of my dragons do. I'm not sorry.)
uh... i could probably think of more if i 1) had more time and 2) it wasn't almost midnight the day after staying up until 2 am, working on a project

- stutters/hesitates: "what, lost your Charge?"
- smells bad: "smells like someone just took a dip in the Wyrmwound!"
- is sick and contagious: "watch out for the Wandering Contagion over there!"
- is about to go on a journey/travel: "may Windsinger guide your wings."
- wants to say something about the night sky: "the Arcanist has blessed the sky tonight."
- doesn't want light in their room: "take Lightbringer out of here!"
- is being rude: "how long have you been in the Fortress of Ends?" or "didn't know you've been arrested before"
- thinks it's too hot: "Flamecaller was really mad today."
- thinks it's too cold: "the Icewarden is nipping at my nose."
- is annoyed by their boss/leader's strictness: "i didn't know we worked for Stormcatcher."
- doesn't sleep (what their friends/fam might say): "i never knew you breed changed to Snapper."
- wants it dark: "tell Shadowbinder to tuck me in."
- is about to gamble: "Tidelord sees luck in my future, i am sure of it."
- lost the gamble: "Tidelord has betrayed me..."
- is annoyed by how loud someone is: "what's up with mr./ms./mrs./whatever Shrieking Wild over here?"
